Another Beginner Photography Thread.

A few months ago I started taking some pictures. I use a cannon 35 mm SLR from like the mid 70's. I like to shoot in Black and White, a bit of color is allright.

I understand I have things to work on. I like shooting with film, instead of Digital. But here are a few shots that i believe are worthy of a thread. They are mostly pictures of trees, I have alot of them around. So if you dont want to see trees, please leave.

Relax with the flamming, constructive criticism is welcomed with open arms though.

Picture size is good.

B&Ws are muddy.

Subjects are boring, most look like snapshots(especially the city shots) and exposures don't look great on my laptop(which isn't calibrated).

Another one. Well, 1-4, the lighting is poor. 1 is boring, 2,3 are too busy(Not just the streets.) The rest are just boring and look like they were just desaturated. 7 looks like a big foot photo.

I would agree that trees are boring, I live in a very boring place.

In most of them I get lost and don't know what to look at. 4 would be good if it had something to look at, like a person.

#4. There wasnt anyone on that platform, the train had been parked there for a while. I think there was a hobo, but he seemed angry I pointed the camera his way.

4 has potential if a little better lit and with a real subject. Its a good perspective.
