*NEVER BE CONTENT* Teaser 2.0 - UL'd FS8

Well I know I haven't been around much (last month and a half with no real day's off)

but I figured I would toss up pics of my work in progress for those of you that were wondering.

back in november I created my ultra lite framed fs8, problems with it? it shot perfectly, was extremely air efficient and faaaaaaaaaaaaaaast. Problems? there was a gap in the body where a tray was supposed to be made by my machinest, about 3 months later I figure forget it, I can make it smaller and lighter still and I do not, do not, do not want a body tray. so I figured out a new way of doing things.

I'm waiting on a new lpr block to be made but I rigged one from another popular under rated gun to work. Now once I get everything finished I will show internal pics, but for now you get this..

It started as this

Became this

and is now this

This gun is powered by 07 nox cyborg board..mac solenoid...laser eyes...(will have sidewinder soon the 2 liter was too heavy for my taste) and a completely brand new style lpr that won't stick out in front of the gun.

This gun is made to be as light as possible while still be structurally safe. If you live in southern california and have seen a 6'3 giant asian guy running around with a paintball gun wrapped in orange electrical tape then that is me, and this is what I was hiding underneath.

there is still alot of shaping that needs to be done to the body to make everything flow more but I'm happy with it so far. just need money and the availability of some parts to completely finish it (waiting for my 07 ego qev)

when it had the asco noid it ran perfectly at a board minimum dwell of 4(or 5 I forget which), roughly 190 psi, and an extremely low lpr (something like half a turn from being zero'd out on the lpr)

top of the trigger guard, like the 06 cyborg.. I've been loving that idea for a while. the rear button area on the ul frame is now just a lexan plate for the led on the board.

And I'll admit it is a bit sloppy but I haven't had much time to work on anything. the body needs to be shaved down some more in certain areas as well as the new eye covers molded (going with either cf or a simple molded epoxy resin for the eye covers. and I can actually cut the rear air inlet down a little more. I want this thing to be tiny and have the anno and laser work do all the talking for me.

Any chance I can get a sneak peak of the inside of the grip and how well the light shows up through the lexan? I'm looking to get a DM7 and wanted to drop a cyborg board in the same place along with a lexan cover.

I could see it on Maury now....a FS7, dm7, Quest, & Cyborg all sitting in a row. And Maury reads...Your are all the fathers. The cyborg gets up and says I knew that freestyle was a whore...lol.

And thens theres Jerry Springer....
