They did it at mine last year and I showed up late for the whole crash **** so I was too far away to really see anything but the assembly the day after was really intense with the parents and kids talking and ****.

Crane - Probably the best BST pics I have ever seen. Almost a little too much for BST.

the main thing im seeing is you need to work on your head room... Notice how theres a whole 1/3 of the picture above their heads of empty space? pan the camera down and get more of the subject. the pictures will be improved by that little tocuh...

Headspace in pictures is a key sign of noobness look at all of your holiday family snapshots and you will notice the same thing.

Track shots. SOOOO many people, rainy and cloudy. For some reason I had the hardest time focusing on those runners....they're fast mother ****ers. I had to crop the **** out of these pictures. No matter how I composed the shot there would always be at least 2-3 people in it.

During the whole Katrina thing, the news mentioned that they were relocating familes (mostly of African American decent) and one of the places they sent a family was to North Idaho...

for those of you who dont know, NI is like KKK/ Skin head capitol of the US.

I was like.. errr I give them 4 days...

Ok but yea now back on topic.

#1 and 3 are your stronger images 2 just feels awkward.

3 would have benefited from a different crop. it feels too cramped to me.

Id just say try different angles.. low angles (camera touching the ground low) are awesome shots for long jump and high jump.

Ok thanks. Next time I'll try to get a press pass, so I can actually get in the fenced off area. The fence you see in number one goes around the whole thing (that guy was actually just warming up) and spectators had to stand behind it a ways.

I'm also debating putting one more up...not because it's any good but because the guy looks like super man (big guy, red, blue tights, and pole vaulting )
