Anything with short rubber nubs on the ends. Spikes that are long or metal usually puncture bunkers and tear up turf. The best thing to do is to call your local field and ask what restrictions are in effect.

If you can't figure out what to get, keep this in mind: If the cleats look like you could kill a vampire with the spikes on the bottom, they probably aren't going to be allowed at your local field.

i like to take the spikes outa my track cleats and just run like that...get decent traction and very lightweight shoes.

regular soccer cleats are great for grass, and track cleats work good for turf

I wear the JT cleats... plastic "spikes" work great on grass and paint soaked turff... except for yesterday at practice when I slid going into the snake and tore my knee a bit.....stupid paint soaked turf......

get any kind of cleats football, soccer, baseball or even paintball I know JT makes some any should be fine as long as you dont have metal spikes. I know a lot of people like soccer cuz of the easy ankle movement since there so low.

JT makes some low top (kind I have) and some middle/high tops. totally personal preferance/whats available.

If I were you, I'd look around to see whats available, try a few differnt types on...then go for comfort/effectivness. If they have great traction but hurt your feet, probably not worth it. If they are super comfortable, but you slide into every bunker you go to, probably not the best either.

There are certain shoes called turf shoes, made for soccer and football on turf. They work great on any surface.
