Zeus G2+ leak

Hi,

My g2+ is leaking through the barrel. What should I do to correct this problem?
I did cock the marker b4 gassing up.

You have a bad cup seal. Replace it with a spyder cup seal and you will be fine.

Thanks for the reply. Do I just pull the cupseal of the metal stem to install the spyder cup seal?

You will first need to remove the puncture pin, a large flathead screwdrive will work. The remove the small screw located next to the brass screw ( the small black screw holds the valve in place.

This is where having a valve tool comes in handy. Remove the valve and the cup seal will fall out. Replace the cup seal and re-install the valve, but first put a fair amount of oil or greas on the orings. Install the puncture pin and you are done.

Oh I forgot to tell you that I have already remove the valve,I see the cupseal. I bought the spyder cupseal,it doesn't come w/the metal stem.

So my question is: Should I pull out the metal stem from the original cupseal and install into the spyder cupseal? Or Maybe I made a wrong purchase just buying the cupseal w/o the metal stem?

Remove the metal stem from the original cupseal and put the Spyder cupseal on the same stem. Should cure your barrel leak.

Also be careful when putting the valve back in not to knick the o-rings on the CO2 cap threads, or you'll still have leaking issues. I had that problem once when replacing the cupseal.
