My monitor is only 1024 wide, I can't see them to critique them, and letting firefox auto resize makes them look like ***.

I'd like to comment but I'm too lazy to scroll. resize them and I might have something to say.

600-700 pixels on the longest side tends to be a pretty good size for internet viewing.

Nobody wants to look at part of a picture at a time. It's kind of why you never see pictures in photobooks that you have to turn over the page to see different parts. It's stupid.

i must say, these shots are better than some of the first shots ive seen on this forum. that doesnt mean theyre good, though. that watermark needs to gtfo. seriously. it's angled, opaque, and an ugly font, but none of those compare to the random and distracting locations u decided to put them.

ok, for future reference... generaly you watermark a pic to identifiy it as yours to keep people from stealing them. Without even commenting on the quality of the shots, I can tell you its highly unlikely that anyone will steal your pics of bugs, lizards, flowers and grass.

But, if you insist on watermarking your photos as some people do just because you think it looks cool, you should place the watermark in a corner or the pic or on a border so that it doesn't take anything away from the overall look of the photo. All I can see when I look at these pics is GooG. My eye is drawn to that immeadiately and it ruins the photos completely. Even if these photos had been awsome... the GooG right at the point of interest would have killed them.

Now that I've beaten that horse to death twice... a really tight crop on # 6 and # 9 might produce something interesting... not too much I can say about the rest and keep my nice guy personna going....

you need more interesting subjects. Keep at it. take lots of pics. But don't feel like you have to post them all. Pic out some that you REALLY like and let us help you with those. And in case you didn't get my subtle hints before... LOSE THE DAMN WATERMARK!!!!!!
