You're probably expecting a flame fest for that, but no worries. Can you talk a little about what you didn't like? Too long? Too much talking? Didn't care about the players profiled?

Not arguing, just curious. As Blaze said, not everybody's going to like it, and that's fine. Just wondered what it was that turned you off.

I do somewhat agree with Blaze on the extras being on a whole nother disc. I would have loved to seen the segment Tony did be at least up to the quality of what Brad Maughan did for Jawbraker 5. That was a great piece on Patrick and MWAG. Tony's piece is great as well.

Course adding a second disc could have been time and cost prohibitive.

My most favorite part so far is the reffing session with XSV. I love seeing the guys out of their element. I would have loved to seen more with them away from paintball too. Don't get me wrong I like the inner workings of the paintball struggle, but I thought there would be more about their life off the field and how it is affected by paintball. Went there a little with Nicky Vegas but would like to have seen more.

Also would have loved to see more title work on the lower third that told us location, time of day, that sort of thing. Like when Rich is on his cell after they win, it would have been nice to show us who he was talking too. Same with some of the places they we're at and such. I know it might take you out of documentary mode and more into TV show type mode, but I think in some places it would have worked.

Pretty sure he was talkin to his wife

Either way, a lot of things I loved, and again a lot of things that could have been different, better or worse... this is how Pat made it

I loved the reffing too, it incorporated part of the struggle too which I liked... it was just funny seeing Davey picking at a twig staring at the 10man going "I can't believe I used to play this" in his head

Another thing...

The trailer showed soooo much... yet all we saw was them playing paintball...

and you don't understand the meaning of any of the scenes until you watch the film.

That's ****ing amazing.

Film was amazing, I showed it too my parents and I think it finally helped them understand why I play the sport and why I sacrifice so much just to play and travel to events every year. thanks MWAG for making the best paintball film to date

Commentary is Funny

Alex/Pat/Matty - "I like this part... it can teach kids a lot about paintball" Rich - "And sideburns!"

A film with what you are wanting is in the making right now. It involves a certain NXL/Semi-Pro team.

I thought it was by far the best paintball film I've seen to date. If CK2 is even half this good, I'll be buying it as well. Two thumbs up.

This film made me understand the grind to be a top team in this competitive world of paintball.. an what it took to be #1.. makes people see that its not easy to be #1 or to even survive

Hmmm. Curious as to which team. Can you say? I would be interested in knowing who.

The best thing I can equate the level of access to would be to watch the Metallica documentary, Monster something or other. That really gets inside with the band. Also the documentary on making Boondock Saints was great too. Good inspiration there.

Basically I would love to have the time to make something that combined the best of the Metallica/Boondocks documentaries with the thrills and spills of Warren Miller meets Dana Brown.

I think Patrick is the Dana Brown of Paintball.

Another great MWAG film! I love that there's a story and not just a bunch of running and shooting like so many other PB dvds.
