Telephoto Lens

I have been looking for a Telephoto Lens, and i need help. Im looking to spend no more than $300. I think i would want at least a focal length of 200mm. I have found a quantaray lens that fits my needs and cost. However, i have heard some bad things about them. If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

I use a Sigma 55-200 with decent, limited results. Stop up, expose properly, and it can turn out fine enough images. $150ish. Its already not a fast lense, so stopping up is not always an option.

Your best bet, would be to save more money.

I use the Sigma APO DG 70-300mm and I got it for under $300 Canadian. It's a great lens and for the price you can't go wrong.
