Warpig's NXL article, XBall @ SC Arenas
NXL Vegas Field Layout article, it's to the right of the "Warped Sportz A.C.E. for the Angel LCD"
www.Warpig.com
The SC Ironmen held a full two-day private X Ball practice at SC Arenas this past weekend. The private X Ball practice was by invite only. Several teams were fortunate enough to play and they all had a great time. The Ironmen were on fire all weekend, seeing how this is literally their home field. The best games I watched were between Dynasty and the Ironmen. The X Ball games at this practice were just as exciting to watch as the X Ball matches at World Cup 2002, but way better than the games at PSP L.A.
Dynasty walking the fields
Game 1, Ironmen vs. Ironkids:
SC IRONMEN!
coach Brad Maughan
Game 2: Opie shot on the break, BC changes direction, shifts to center left
BC to dorito
BC wins the battle from the V, wins the game
Josh Meyer, always, always getting in the way.

There is usually about 30sec-1minute between games.

Battled,
Close up pics are not available. I didn't want to take pics of Super Killer's new, top secret prototype ACE'ed IR3. At least not til I get my IR3 ACE'ed in a week and a half. Also, I didn't want to get in the way of the SC Ironmen players cuz they were extremely focused and they were on fire!

Both are class act events!
As for the tourney stuff, ask any of the Franchise XBall teams, College teams, or DraxXus himself (he's the greatest player around).
Sorry, I had to go back and take out all the fun stuff cuz you-know-who is getting all pissy about it.

Well, here's what I was thinking... What if paintball fields were to invest in one of these regulation sized X Ball fields and have it set up for open play? Would you wanna go play X Ball like you would play b-ball pick up games at the local black top? I think players would want to go play pick up games afterschool/work during the week. I asked SC Arena's VP about setting up an X Ball field at H.S.P., and he said something I can't remember... um, yeah. Playing X ball as practice can really help you learn how to play aggressively and help improve your snap shooting and run thrus. Imagine being able to watch how the proballers play the field, learning from it, and then applying those concepts in your own game. Like how the above pictures show BC thinking on his feet, working with backplayers, and move with perfect timing. Or, watching the SC Ironmen send one runner and keep 4 sweetspotters in the back, to sweetspot three of our players on the break (they've discovered a foolproof top secret strategy to make this happen, watch for it at the next XBall event). Or, watching the SC Ironmen provide enough coverfire for Zyzek to run thru and bunker/shoot out 4 of our players (whew! glad I wasn't playing that game). Or, watch SC Ironmen coordinate another top secret Zyzek run thru, again. I'm glad I spend most of my time at the field watching and not play too many games. It helps me save a lot of money on paint. Plus, playing with a pumpgun has its accuracy advantages, ya know? Anyway, like I said, it was lots of fun standing on the sidelines all day and being able to watch SC Ironmen execute the different plays from their top secret, 1,000+ page playbook. I think I've learned a lot.

Nope, I don't see any HK-IK or hkSNPR info here. For a full report on their X Ball practice this past weekend, do a search on the "Hostile Pukes" thread in this forum.
