12 Hours of Sebring

First race of the ALMS season was in Sebring, FL this weekend. I've always wanted to go but never been able to get off work/school. I got to go this year and it was awesome!! Honestly I didn't spend a whole lot of time shooting, mainly because there were fences every where, making it nearly impossible to find good spots to shoot. But I got some good ones. If anyone cares, Audi got first in P1, the Acuras got first in P2, corvette got 1st/2nd in GT1. C&C welcome. Thanks!

cool shots. the ISO is kinda high on that one vette shot, but the flames make up for it.
what kind of lens did u shoot these with?

Yeah, it was getting pretty dark. ISO at 1600 and still underexposing. I had to mess with curves a lot just to get it brighter. I though I'd post it anyway because the brakes and the flame made it look cool. Also I was shooting with my crappy sigma 18-200. I really need to save up and get a sigma 70-200 f/2.8.

Awesome. Yeah my favorite team is Flying Lizards. I even wore my FL shirt yesterday. Too bad they blew it at the end.

Nice shots. Looks like you could have pulled some really nice shots with a much faster lens... but then again, that sounds a lot like me

Im really diggin the vette shot with the back fire and the rotors glowing. If you could run the image threw noise ninja or whatever, it'd take the cake.

You know, it never seems to matter the situation. We always need a faster lens

Nice spread btw I live in Fl and I have been to Sebring several times but not in the last few years. Was there crazyness in the motor home "pit"? Did the drunk, fire jumping stooge get burned again? Also, I see no pics of chicks. (and I know they were there!) Anything better than tits and the smell of burning rubber and racing fuel?

Yes, there was much craziness in Green Park. And while waiting in a big crowd at the end of the race trying to get to the podium, I almost got punched. Some drunk college guy that had been there since like Tuesday almost got his *** beat cause he kept pushing this guy in front of him. Also since my brother is really good friends with someone who works for ALMS, i got a slot as a volunteer and had to help pick up the signs around the track, and there were people setting couches and all kinds of stuff on fire, on the track. It was really crazy. I'll get some girl pics in a second.

Edit: here's some hot Kumho girls.
