Haha...do you have a Mac? One of my setups for work is a quad dual-core operton with 16GB RAM. That's very nice...

4GB is the sweet spot with Vista. When I tried to install it with 2GB it was extremely slow on my cousins' computer. I tried again on my own with mine (8GB) and it was insanely fast. I'm guessing that somewhere between 4GB and 8GB is all you really need.
