bought an HP laptop over the summer for school and gaming, got a geforce 7600 in it, core duo, and 2 gigs of ram.

the fan is always on, and the thing is always hot to the touch the laptop normally sits on a desk and i never really use it as a laptop.

The other day i had it at a friends house, and i was sitting on his bed and useing a cardboard box as a stand. the fan had free flowing air to it and wasnt spinning as fast as usual. also i noticed that it wasnt anywhere near as hot to the touch as usual.

so ive been looking at some cooling stands, some with fans, some without.

whats what would be the best cooling stand for my laptop?
