CO2 Tank Being Weird

When I screw off my co2 tank nowadays, co2 comes out until the tank is completely removed. I'm used to it being a short burst of air upon removal, but this is something new. And whenever this happens, the o-ring on the rank gets loose and becomes white...After a while, it tightens up again. Should I replace it or something?

is it the same tank? if not, the valve pins are probably different lengths. the same thing could happen if you replaced your asa. the oring thing is just because it gets cold from the co2, no worries there. just unscrew fast, or pick up an on/off from somewhere. not necessary, but they're nice to have.

Same tank. Same ASA. I thought that it would be a problem with the oring...And yeah, I do unscrew fast, but the oring still loosens up and I'll have to wait a while before screwing the tank back in.

to stop that dryfire as you remove the tank. at around 1/2 to 3/4 turns you will feel the gun lose pressure, and you wont get that burst out of your co2 tank.
