Digi when did you return?

It's been forever since I saw you. Now you're everwhere...

Depends on what kind of games you're into. FPS's... I'm not really much help. Like Digitard said, BF2142 or BF2. I hear good things about F.E.A.R. but I don't know about online play for that game.

Company of Heroes is a good one, if you're into strategy.

You can get the MP for F.E.A.R for free... so thats always good.
Company of Heroes, agreed, is great. I loved the beta when I was testing the mP and I'm thinking about buying it.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a bit dated, but its good and free. Same with TRIBES.

I think the BF games are my favorite though just cause it covers so many things. Air, Sea, Land, and tons of different class options. It really has something for everyone.

I've been here... I just spent a few days doing other stuff so I wasn't online much but outside a few day hiatus I have been here still.

I am into FPS's but would like to try some Tiberian Wars or something like that. I had F.E.A.R. for 360. That game was great but it scared the crap outta me. Dark, quiet cellar where I was playing it and that little girl comes outta nowhere. Freaky s**t.

I'm playing a torrented version of Armed Assault - only single player, but still pretty fun.

Company of Heroes is a must have, destructible environments never gets old and you never play the same map twice.

As for FPS here are a few newer choices that might require a more beefer computer:

Oblivion
Fear
Counter Strike Source
Day of Defeat Source
Half Life 2 and Episode One
Call of Duty 2
Unreal Tournament 2004
BF2142
BF2

I'm playing it right now. It's 1868 and I've been playing for about 6 hours total.

IMO Company kicks major ***, I also liked Empire at War... but may be mostly because I'm a big Star Wars buff...

I've been considering getting at least one version of Battlefield... for the reasons you listed. From what I've seen, you can do anything you please almost...

I'd be spending a hell of a lot of time in the air...

I have that one, but I have a higher up C2D and I put an ATI X1950 XT in it, it's sick as hell. And 2 gigs of RAM. I wont knock Dell for their XPS's for a looonnng time.
