Basically. It's meaningless, but kids think the lower your digits, the better you are.

Go to the console (~ key), type "status" (without the " "), look for your name.

Depends on digits and experience.

I sold a 5 digit with Cal-im exp. for $50 I thought it was pretty good. Now I have a super cool 14xxxxxx. People in scrims don't like me because they assume I hacked/hack.

My 1.5 account was wonid:6xxx, my steam idea was like 355xxx. It won't get you anything doesn't prove you've been playing longer than anyone else

You can get money, it depends though. Experience is huge for people but just having low digits is something people want too. It makes them seem like they're better than they are. Helps them get into clans whatever.

Yes, it does. People look at experience when you try out for misc. clans.

Here are the steps.
1. Start up steam
2. Select steam game of your choice
3. Find server
4. Connect to server
5. Press the ~
6. Type, "status" without the parentheses
7. Find your name.
8. Steam_0:0:xxxxxx The x's are the digits that you want.

Jeez, let me guess you play ogl don't you. NO one gives a flying **** about steamid's unless your a bunch of ogl scrubs. They look at your EXPERIENCE as you JUST said. Not your god damn id.

Example

Cal-i Team United 5 has a player named "Des" with a steamid of 0:1:12161940. According to his steamid he practically just started playing. Take a look at SaviourSix, more than half of their players have long id's

Ok first of all. 4 digits are worth around 200-250 ish. As far as i know 5 digits are still worth around 100-150ish. And the reason some cal-i players have low digits are to start over as either reform teams or to prove digits don't mean squat. end of story
