oil/lube

It says you should use dow 55 and triflow. Does this really mater. Can you not use any kind? thx

of course it matters

triflow is for your bolt because it lubricates your bolt so theres less bolt drag

dow 55 is for your lpr, hpr, and ram because it creates a seal so air wont escape.


Edit: if you are talking about the specific brand then it doesnt matter much. i use Gold Cup for the bolt and Slick Honey for the lpr,hpr,ram

Dow55 and Dow33 is recommended for the HPR, LPR, and ram o-rings. Tri-Flow and Gold Cup is recommended for the bolt o-rings. You can use similiar substances for the HPR, LPR, and ram such as Dye Slick Lube, SL33K, and Hater Sauce. For the bolt, you can use other oil based substances.
