Is it more money to invest in a franchise instead of starting your own feild and shop? i googled paintball franchises and found a few i was interested in.

That's a good question, I am thinking of starting my own shop/field also.

IIRC, there's very little money to be made in it. Markup on markers is about nothing, and few stores are able to make it well. You probably won't make any profit during your first year or so.

There is very little money to be made in any business the first year, paintball business's are even more difficult to get off the ground.

I thought of this idea, this would create the best for the actual business of paintball. My idea was so that stores could move more product around and not be suck with a product not selling, this would also make cost, making products cheaper if stores combined. Our store tried this, however it failed due to several reasons however we did not lose any money in the process because we knew what we were doing, but it was cool just to see how things go down.
