Assuming the use of a preset output tank and an inline regulator, then irrespective of whether the preset tank is set for LP or HP output, the final pressure will be set by the inline regulator, and that pressure going in to the marker will be the same in both cases. So there shouldn't be any difference in efficiency, because the pressure going in to the marker will be the same in either case.
Unless of course your post is not in relation to the air system question being asked, and you are just saying that a stock Shocker is a low pressure marker, and hence inefficient, in which case that comment doesn't really belong here, as it has nothing to do with the question in hand.
