It kind of depends on the stuff they use. If its thick stuff like almost real grass than normal cleats work really good. But if its shorter stuff i would go with the spikes

Please remember the following rules.
7.1.11.1. Footwear must not be modified from the manufacturer’s original form, and
7.1.11.2. Must not include metal cleats or spikes, and
7.1.11.3. Must not be more than 10% yellow or orange.
7.1.12. A player who continues to play with illegal clothing will be assessed a gross penalty.
I'll give you a heads up, I was told that turf shoes would work best.

Yes it is. Last season I used golf cleats for the NPPL turf. They're surprisingly flexible.

yea, but you don't usually use the formal golf shoes. usually use the ones that look like tennis shoes.

sprinting spikes would be terrible for paintball...up on your toes and no heel=no lateral movement. personally i think soccer cleats are the best bet if youre going to be on grass, and turf soccer cleats for well turf. if youre going to use running spikes get distance/cross-country ones. spikes is a general term for the shoe used in track/xc...the actual metal spikes that go in them are removeable so thats not an issue.

Ceramics are illegal. Ceramics are actually sharper than the metal ones.
