Then the Angel V6 was born (then the SE then the LCD for 3 generations then the IR3)

From what I am reading it sounds like people would rather that the companies stop making improvements to their products. If they all did that we would never feel that we are being screwed because there is something new that costs more out there. What we have here is the law of supply and demand.....the more we push for newer better markers the more they will provide. They want to make a buck the same as any other company so the more they make changes the more they will sell. Nothing is ever perfect and most people are never happy with what they have. If people would learn to live with what they already have the advancements would slow down and the manufacturers would not be able to sell a new marker every year. We can ***** all we want but we created this problem. I swear that people will spend $100 on a part that will make them shoot 1 ball faster....it is crazy.

Personally, I like all the new stuff and the advancements that have come with that. If you don't like it then maybe you should stick to what you have and be happy about it.

As far as SP sucking.... I have had numerous markers and when I got my impy I was a little reluctant but it has really proven to be one of the best markers I have ever had. If you read any of the PB rags you will see the impy showing up more and more....so they must be doing something right. I have been very happy with my marker. If you are breaking something every time you use your impy maybe you should try cleaning it or stop using it as a door stop....I just have not see the type of problems that you are talking about.

I dont think you read my post.

I am all about new products that create improvments in needed areas. But if you read my post and actually read the pre-lim specs on both of these guns you wil find that they are simply a rehash of what SP already makes with a new magnetic trigger.

not that inovative, but ofcourse all the kiddies on pbnation will be trading thier soul for one.

i think some people are a little confused. Teams dont shoot a gun because they think its the best out there. They shoot it because a company pays them to shoot it. Hell nad company shoots spyders, no one says hey, lets go buy a spyder.

You look at the new shocker, and the old shocker.. You tell me the only thing they did was change the grip?

I talked to one of the All A's at the madness. He is a tech at the SP factory and he told me that the nerve is going to be a faster, smaller impulse. And I quote!!!! "THE ACCURACY WILL BE CLOSE, IF NOT JUST AS GOOD AS THE IMPULSE". The only real thing he said was good about it was that it was small, light, and fast. The accuracy will be like the angel.

The new nerve is not an impulse. The new nerve is completely new. It it wasn't they wouldn't be having the minor production problems with them that they are having.

Almost every gun with a 4-way solenoid is designed to function the same way. My $1400 Dragon Intimidator is basically an ultra-high quality bushmaster with eyes. An angel has a 4-way solenoid valve, it fires like a Spyder with a ram instead of a main spring.

The nerve's self-adjusting LPR has a few bugs. It starves when you fire the gun faster than about 11 balls per second. The balls drop off. It's a milling issue. The electronics are fine.

Don't compare the nerve and shocker to viking and an excal. The new shocker uses a single solenoid. Hence the size reduction, and better efficiancy. Closed bolt guns are more accurate than non-closed bolt guns. With closed bolt, there is less air turbulence. However, paintballs are geletin filled balls that stretch into little eggs during flight. They won't be accurate.

Smart Parts says they're going to wait on releasing their new markers until they're sure they're going to be good. Be patient.

The old Shocker was just fine but you needed an 88ci 4500 to get a 1000+ shots per tank, which made it to heavy for a lot of the little teenies. So SP just made it ligther and more gas efficient, and that is improvements in my mine. I have no idea about the Nerve, I will with hild judgement to until I touch one.

Giys these companies are manufacturers, if they stop selling, they go out of business, do not get hustled by hype!
