the best way to get a sponcer is to win and show that you are a great team and let them come to you if you get up thier with the big boyz and can hold your own they will be knocking down your door where do you play? i live in nj too

no offense but dont think about sponsers for awhile.
it takes years to even like place in tourneys let alone win consistenly. the first year just practice at least twice a month and do a tourney every month or every other month. concentrate on fundamentals, communication, and teamwork.then do more and more tourneys all over.get your name out and win some things(or place) that is when you can ask for partial sponsership.just keep a good attitude and be competitive and youll be noticed

goodluck

i live in PA and am also interested in starting to play tourneys

also i was just wondering how anybody would suggest to get started
i don't have a team because no one in the area has high end guns but me and there isn't a whole lot of talent where i live

Have any of u ever played at the global tournaments i was wondering if this would be a good place to start

*how to get started:
first off find some guys, start getting them to meet up w/ u at the feild. find the guys that aren't nessacaily the best players but the most devoted to the sport. once u have ur guys together, set up practices, skrimages and such. and go from there

*sponsorship:
from a big company good luck. u don't goto them they come to u, if u really want it that bad, first off u have to be an awesome team. second u won't find them they'll find u. they have scouts at all the big events. our team right now is sponsored by a local store and a local feild. we're hoping to get as good as we can for skyball, maybe a company will find us of some interest.

Good luck

Do you have a local store or field .If so, stop by there often, help out,fix broken guns whatever.Try to find out whose serious about playing on a team. You will need at least 6 for 5 man.Plan on spending lots of time & money to make and place in sizable tourneys. You could try to hookup as a "B" player on an established team and work your way up.Watch the winning teams at tourneys and learn the field fast. Good luck maybe we'll play ya someday.

This is by far the most important no point in playing tournies if no one shows up. Avoid players with egos they always cause problems.
