I would say not, most of our people will be at an event that weekend and I dont know who would set up the field. John would know for sure.

Normally we hold team practices on Saturdays, but we can accommodate for Sundays if we know that your team is unable to attend on those practice days. What field setups are you looking for, NPPL, PSP ??? Depending on interests for the week we normally switch field setups and different formats to give a little more variety.

We have 40+ experienced tournament players on the Jungle Cat team who are not always able to make every practice, but this gives us pool of players to form teams with for different events. Everyone on our team practices with everyone else to gain experience and to pass on knowledge to the others. We are always looking additional teams to play with and you will find both d4, d3 and above quality players!

Unfortunately, this Saturday about 30 of us are traveling to Minnesota for an event and will not be around. However, next weekend would be a good opportunity for our teams to practice.

Let me k now what you would like to do!

oh ok. well we were just hoping to get a last practice before a tournament on the 27th, and wanted to practice some different people to keep us on our toes. so it sounds like this sunday wouldn't be a good time then? i dont want to create a hassle for you guys, especially right after an event.

I wasn't aware there was a tournament this weekend at JC? Smash Fest? I thought the field was reserved for the sheriffs department to run drills at there annual over-nighter since a lot of us were going to the tournament?

Maybe Junglecat could clear up this matter.

One thing I can guaranty is that there is not an event named “smash fest” happening this weekend at Jungle Cat. “Smash Fest” sounds more like something you would name the demolition derby at the local county fair.

One thing I do find amusing is when someone blatantly spams another fields thread with an advertisement for there fields events without so much as a “hey were having an event at our field and we would be happy to have you come”. Then when called out on this pathetic lack of etiquette, resorts to insults in a vain attempt to …. what???... force us into playing an event in order to defend our honor or something??

The majority of us in this thread are adults who have long ago outgrown young adult, my package is bigger than your package, banter. At best this has made us ask ourselves, “Wow, if this is the mentality level of the people who frequent this establishment, why would I want to go?”

My suggestion next time is:
A: Ask. “Hey we have an event this weekend if you want to put a team in” or something of that nature. You know, like normal people talk.
B: Include pertinent information, like where the event is supposed to be. This can be helpful when figuring out which county fair we will need to go to.

Thats probably your best bet, day of or night before should be good
