Vintage paintball gun Illustrator rear vel. adjuster

Anyone know what differences this velocity adjuster has from the F4's stock adjuster? I assume that this one has a tournament lock or some such.

That is new to me and I can't find any information on it... but since it's going for $4 right now, that wouldn't be a horrible loss, even if it didn't actually fit the F4 model.

(From looking at the picture I would assume it is a tourney lock style.)

I wonder how long ago those were made? maybe they were made to swap in on a F-1 (had no velocity adjustment) other wise it just looks like a slick little tooless adjuster

F1 "upgrade"

Thats an aftermarket velocity adjuster for a F1/F2. It would also fit an F4 as the threading is the same.
