Hey, I recently got a b2k2 and was wondering what tank I should get in order to get the best results out of my bushy.

Thanks

There are some nice Air systems out there and most "screw-in" presets will work with the bushy. I recommend the Mac Dev Conquest if your looking for a nice adjustable HP air system. Easy maintaince, excellent support! They are a company that definately stands behind their products.

Doesnt matter really. For a preset go w/ a PureEnergy or a Crossfire.

For a higher end tank try the Conquest, Maxflo, or MAYBE an Angel Air.

I am going to be going either with a Conquest or A.I.R.

I want to run a single reged set up. Just a gas through grip. I read it is best for no shoot down and consistancy.

joehack98 - actually, two regs are better than one. The reason people have shoot down is because they're dumb and don't give enough pressure to the second reg...

the get the absolute best consistency you need to have two regs.

set the adjustable to about 200psi higher than the second reg will be pushing... everything will be great, no shoot down and it'll be very consistent.

Nitro Duck Mega Reg!

The True Dual Regulated HPA system. This eliminates any worries about pressure spikes, inconsistent regulation, and the need for a gun regulator. The Mega Reg also has PCT, Pressure Consistent Technology, which keeps the output pressure from falling as the tank pressure falls. Both Features are Nitro Duck Exclusive!

I know ShootPaint.com has them for a really good price too.

I reccomend a LOW PRESURE output corssfire, ( i use a 46.4500).... I know where they are Actually IN STOCK ( they are VERY hard to find) and under 200.00 ( fiber wraped 450 psi output preset)

that is what i read at tanks site.

It makes some sence because inside the gas through grip would be a larger amount of regulated air. Air ready to be "let in" the valve. Regulators dont have much place to store air. That is just what I am thinking at the moment.

Can you please explain why you believe what you do? I am more partial to your idea, because most people run dual regs. But then again, most people think hondas are the greatest cars from japan.

Then again, a capable tank with great regualtion and a high refresh rate wouldnt have the need to be regulated, no?

I believe what I do because it's proven in many cases.

A single regged system will get on average around +/- 5fps or so...

Now hook that thing up, jack it up another 200psi, stick a sidewinder or gladiator on it, you'll get +/- 1 or 2fps... granted, it's not a big difference... but it is a difference.

And as far as gas volume goes, the Bushy doesn't really need that much... because after all, the internals are designed to flow at a predetermined dwell period. This means no matter how much volume you have, the same amount of air is going to get though... so it doesn't matter.

I'm not saying having a single regged system is bad, hell, it's a lot lighter, that's for sure, but it's not quite as consistent is all I'm saying.

A reg shouldn't have any probs with recharge as long as it's properly maintained and has proper pressure being fed to it. That's the reason for the 150 - 200psi difference. That's also why you can run a preset 450psi preset on a bushy without shootdown.

So tank is wrong? He has it listed as the best setup.

I am asking because I am getting a tank soon. I dont want to spend what I wont really notice. Im not getting A.I.R anymore, but I am still set on getting a conquest, but should I get a preset 450 centerflag or something and be okay with that?

Honestly, get the Conquest... then get a real nice reg... you'll be in fat city

But because of the quality of the Conquest, you'll be able to use it single regged until you can afford the secondary reg

I am getting a b2k3 in this week. and I am shopping around for a nice used conquest. Hopefully I can pick it up soon. I dont want to spend unnessisary money. I got a car thing going to that is gobbling up most of my funds. And I have been hearing good things about the new omen.. If it ever comes out, I wanna try it.

BTW. Should I just run a gas through or stock reg if I get the conquest?

I've been hearing good things about the stock reg that's shipping with the 2K3's... So you shouldn't have any probs running it with it as a regulator...

If you're hard up for cash, get a cheaper tank
