I was thinking about doing this but was afraid after a few hundred shots or so, the glue would loosen up enough so the magnets would fall off. Two magnets slamming against eachother over time will cause the glue to fail. So, how is it holding up so far? How many shots have you fired with it?

the magents dont actually touch each other. there is a gap. i have had mine on for awhile(atleast 5,000 shots with the same glue) with no problems yet. I too was worried but if you put on a lot of glue and make sure its holding it really good you shouldnt have any problems. carry the spring and/or glue with you if you need to fix it. You could also try an industrial strength metal to metal adhesive after you play with crazy glue. Using a little bit of crazy glue holds it in place enough for you to put it back together and see if the magents are in the right place. Then just mark its location, take it off and reglue it after you clean the old glue off.
