Today I chrono'd my Fusion

Set HPR to 250. Started with LPR all the way in. Screwed out it shot. Chrono'd. Too low. Screwed LPR out some more. Chrono'd. Too low. Ended up with LPR all the way out. Too low. Set HPR to 300. Finally shot my desired velocity (280ish).

Is this normal for a fairly new Fusion?

NO THAT IS NOT NORMAL bottom out both the regs and just leave it their, dont air it up again until you get the needed parts.

Email DP and ask for a new reg/noid/lpr (lpr if needed). youll be better to send it in though.

Bare with me here... I just put air in it and shot it out of box without bottoming out both regs.. would that have anything to do with how loud it is?

Its really not that hard

-get a 1/4 allan wrench supplyed with you fusion and adjust it IN im not sure the direction because i dont have my fusion but i think it is clockwise
-after after you turned the adjustment screw IN turn it counterclockwise or OUT till it reaches 250 psi on the gauge above the hpr/opr
-then set you lpr to the fps you want by turning it IN (decreasing fps) or out (increasing fps)

silly question but, if i dont have a chrono available, does anyone know how many turns on the lpr i should go to get a good fps or is it different for every gun?

NEVER SHOOT YOUR MARKER AT ANYONE without a chrono!

But, to get a decent fps, to try out the marker. Bottom out the regs. Raise the hpr to 225. Then slowly turn up the lpr in 1/8 turn increments until it fires. then turn untill it fires without dropoff at high rates of fire. Turn it another 1/4 turn and rock out.

The System X NMe uses the LPR for speed adjustment.. eventhough the marker is pretty much a timmy, setting your velocity through your lpr, seemed to work flawlessly and the results are very consistent on fps..

I have yet to fully get up to the 290 to 300 fps range, without having to increase my HPr output just under 300 on my fusion.. "knock on wood" it hasnt blown yet, and I really like my results with the fusion..
good luck fellas
