Wiggle: To answer your question, I believe there are a few who play for both teams, and a number of ex-hurricanes/ex-NYX guys have played for the other team. The teams have separate owners and such, and the rosters are different for both teams. Its not the whole team, just a few players play on both teams (I may be wrong, please correct me if so). In terms of sponsorship funds, I'm not sure how that works so I can't give you any insight in that regard.

I was being serious. I thought it was a great idea.
The simple answer is that the only thing that isnt the same is the administraion. Chris Wedge, Zack Ducharme and even Paulie Costa were Hurricanes before being NYXers. Greg S. was a Hurricane-in-training until he became an NYXer. In fact, I helped get Chris, Zack and Greg onto NYX. And Mac, before he was a Hurricane, tried out for NYX (this was in 2005). Scott Maher left NEH for NYX in 2004 and came back in 2005. Rob played for NYX for two events in 2005. All kinds of crazy crossovers.
Moreover, the staff has had crossover. DA managed the Pit for NYX at Mohegan Sun. Rosie helped coach us in OC. I went to the World Cup. We all talk frequently. I watched the SuperBowl at Necco's house while most of the team went to Anthony Vitale's (owner of Boston Paintball).
Where one starts and the other ends is a blurred line. Intentionally so, as no one WANTS to pick sides. All for one and one for all and all that good sh*t. Rosie and I talk before either of us does anything. I spoke to Rosie before NEH left Alien and Rosie helped us get in with DYE. Necco and I talk about player performance, so I can help watch things for him and vice versa. Hell, the NYX captain, Chris Wedge, lives with me.
As for the sponsorship question: its not cheap. But let's see what happens for 2007.

all im trying to say is at this point in time every pro teams trying to get more and more money. NXL/ Pro NPPL teams are the ones with the most funding now a days and i think both teams are missing out on some major money.

Well its only a theory beccause i dont know if this is true but i figure if Canes have a NPPL spot they can ask for a sertain amount of money (or they are intitled to a sertain amount of money from all there spoonsors). With the addition of an NXL franchise the Canes would be that much more of a brand name. You could easily ask if not demand more endorsements from your sponsors simple on the fact that you will be in the eyes of the public that much more.
The name NYX if anything is holding your team from becomming more profitable.

That was the part I was looking for.
When you don't know, you can come up with all kinds of theories, both wild and crazy.
If you are ever in the position of negotiating with sponsors, let me give you a piece of advice. Don't demand anything. You may be disappointed with the results.
Our relationship with NYX has never been anything but positive, and any "theory" that would have it otherwise is simply wrong.
Though fun to read.
Thanks

o i didnt mean any disrespect because i do understand that there is a reason for everything and that if it was that simple it would of already happen. saying demand in my previous post i do regret because you are right demanding something is the worst way to go about it. But honestly you dont think that there would be some benefit in the long run from at least a name murger or something so that people know who they are cheerig for?

No worries man, and no disrespect taken.
We are excited about the up coming season, and once things get going, I am sure everyone will be pretty clear.
