ah, I did one today, and I was about to make a tutorial, but was to lazy to get a camera...

Here is how I did mine...
I used 3 zip ties goign across the lid of the hopper for a speed feed. I marked off where I wanted them to be (made them equally spaced across the top). Then I took a dremel w/ a small bit that is sort of like a ball mill (a very, very small one) and made slots where I wanted the zip ties to go. Then it is just sticking the zip ties in the slots, and hot glueing them down, then cutting to excess out of hte back. Its pretty easy. Here's a pic of one I did a while ago.

(that one has 4 fingers, because I messed up with the spacing, and balls could almost fall out).
I'll get pics of my new one soon (its much better, much cleaner)

These only work w/ 10 round tubes, because the zip ties are to strong to let paint through. I stick the 10 round tube right into the speed feed, and the fingers part, letting the paint out.

I did mine like this.

Created a hole about dead-center of the lid that is a decent amount wider then a 10 round tube that allows a ten round tube to be slipped in easily. Then just cut the end of a zip tie off and used alittle duct tape to hold it still and you got yourself a one-way gate.

Its works real nice, it might only let a ball out if the hopper itself gets lucky.
