i wouldnt doubt that price at all (1500) cause in the catalog it says that it is " not a gun, but a complete system" with tank and new "inline maxflow"

the nerve is going to be much more than the impy so that they don't compete.. why would SP still sell the impy if they were the same price as the nerve?
thats not smart marketing

I got an "Official price" I was told the following:

Chris,
As you know there are tons of rumors floating around on the internet. While I have been watching these myself I can assure you that no one has access to any information that you do not. We are not trying to hide anything, or keep secreats from you, we simply do not know what the price of the new markers will be.

Both guns are still in developmental stages. While we are having alot more luck with the shocker then we are the nerve, there is still alot of testing both in the factory and in the field. When we set our prices on the gun they have to not only cover the price of the materials used in the gun but also the developmental costs for the gun.

As you can immagine we have been working hard to get these guns onto the market as fast as we can. They aren't making any money sitting in a proto room. I can assure you that whenever I find out any information at all about the markers you will be the first to contact.

------ it then goes on to talk about some other stuff that has nothing to do with the shocker or the nerve...

Simply put... There is no price.... *BUT* while talking to an associate at smart parts I was told

"The market has already set and anticipated the price tag set at 1600, while we have no price availible at this time be sure that if the market is willing to pay, we will glady acomodate"

Whats that mean? That if they were going to charge 1400$ for the gun but know from research that the bulk of the people who will be buying the nerve are ok spending 1600, they will charge 1600...

Isn't it amazing how market research works?

$1200-$1500 US = $1800-$2400 CAD (approx)

I know its a little pricey isn't it. I may just stick with the Shocker myself.

Hmmmmm, $1600 including full Freak and Max-Flow??? Good deal....

$1600 for the gun alone...... ludicrious......Considering it doesn't look nearly as promising as some of the markers it's competeing with, which cost a few hundred less.....IMO
