Using crappy walmart paint I definetely had some issues, but considering the paint was a year old and my hopper's batteries were practically dead it performed relatively well. If you use winter paint I don't think you'll have any problems, other than numbness.
your issue is the paint. get winterized. like polar ice, or ramp. just dont leave your tank filled an out in really cold weather you you should be ok. sometimes excessive cold can mess with guns, but its usually below 10 degrees
It was 21* here the other day and I just brought my new LE Fusion home ... slapped my LP Crossy on and a Reloader B with basically dead batteries ... filled the hopper with a pod of 4 month old whitebox and took it outside
With the PSP ramp setting enabled it ripped off with only 1 barrel break towards the end of the hopper -- I chalk it up to the freezing temps making the paint BRITTLE
The gun itself performed flawlessly -- even with its VERY light coat of lube from the factory. I have since stripped the entire gun and relubed with some D55
