havent been to njrc but i hear ejam's reball field is bigger. Yes you pick up the pods on the table on the field. you can get up to 3 pods and a hopper depending on the amount of people there are and how many pods have been shot off already. i personally am not in love with the layout but its not terrible. Better than not playing at all but it is a bit crowded. They try and play 3v3 games but you could get a 4v4. I had never played reball. I shot zballs at my house before and didnt have too good of an experience with those. Unfortuanitly ejams decided to go cheap and got the zballs intead of authentic reballs which was a downside to it. the zballs don't shoot too well plus they require lube in order to be fed with your hopper. But for $45 for all day play i would do it again. Oh, one more con about the field. the turf is the same as the turf they used for the paintball field they had so its still paint covered so if you expect to have a nice clean day think again. my pants were covered like normal ejams play.
i would much rather play on the new xball field they set up which one of the refs said is nppl size just is short 14 ft on the width. not noticeable though. they ran 7v7 games all day and it was fine. Unfortuanitly i have not yet played on it. hoping to do that next sat.

It did'nt look busy Thursday... Reball is geared toward team skills where you can snapshoot against your teammates and all be honest about the hits... You know alot of people wont call themselves out when a reball bounces off there goggles... It's great for practicing gun skills on a regular basis, but if you can only get out a few times a month, there is nothing more satisifying and exciting than shooting your opponent multiple times and breaking paint all over his grill...

Suprisingly the X-ball field definately feels larger... It's a good set up too, they just have to keep those few weak bunkers inflated.
