Does that make a huge difference? I just bought an A5 used (my first marker) and should I be doing that?

Looks sweet. Fire it off and see if you notice any difference. It should be subtle, but it'll be there and it'll help.
As to Grape: Polishing the internals helps as the regular shells come out rough and aren't very smooth. Just run your fingers over the inside of the shells and feel for yourself. This friction wears out the internal pieces that move against it. Plus it just looks cool when your internals are polished

Well any drop fill fit once you get the grip adapter. And you'll want a drop for sure with that big tank hanging off the back.

I believe TippmannParts carries them and you could probably pick up someones stock Custom Pro drop for pretty cheap and use it.

If by both sides you mean left and right body halves, then yes; if you mean inside and outside of the marker, then no [but that would look cool if you did a good job.]

I believe the pits are just defects from the factory. My 98 has the same problem. It has been said it won't affect performace at all. I wouldn't worry about it.
