sorry but well , there is something i can't get with an home made gauge : you can set your LPR with it , that is fine , but what about your HPR ?
When tuning a gun, the first thing you generally do is tune the HPR , then the LPR , so what is the point is tuning the second without even having a clue about the first one ?
That is why I thing I 'd rather spend about $40 for the bob long tool ( shipping fees will kill me but it may save a closer that won't fire ) , cause it reads both pressures at the same time

Someone please correct me since I'm probably wrong, but if the stickys/manual say that the LPR must be 70-80psi, it doesn't matter what your HPR is, the LPR HAS to be 70-80. So with this tester, set the LPR first to its mandatory setting, and then adjust the HPR to get 280fps
correct or wrong?

That is how I have always done my guns. I only check the HPR if one of my guns isn't working right.
If you wanted to save on the cost, you can do what I did. Use an old bottomline and stick a gauge in the port. Screw your reg in and adjust it according to the gauge. If you have the parts lying around it's an easy throw together tester that's good for regs and to check your tank output.

This is what I did.
My old Ashcroft guage from my timmy, a random barb with a rather large thread. And a tap.
Seems to work just dandy.

You need a cocker barb I believe, shouldn't be too hard to find them at your local paintball store.

y would you have to take out the noid?

First post tells you exactly how to do it, no need for pics when you can simply read...
