well done. Just add a purge button so you can check the consistency on it too.

yep I made one, unfortunately they didn't have any bottom feed guages so I had to get a back feed one.

The end cap was hardened steel so my drill bit was struggling a bit at first then smooth as better at the end. I didn't have any autococker barbs but I did have a front 10-32 banjo fitting from an Ion I used to own.

So right now instead of a barb I got a QD Banjo fitting! No more worn hoses!

Or you can just buy a 1/4 to 1/8 reducer & a 1/8 end cap thats pre-drilled for 10-32 threads from Palmer ($4.15 & $4.10). If you dont have a drill and or drill bits to do it yourself.

cool...but its gay that you have to take the trigger frame off...a gun tech at my shop had something..that all you had to do was take out teh bolt assembly...and you put the pressure tester right in there..and it gave you teh hpr and lpr

You can buy those off of Bob Long's site, shocker:
http://store.boblongdirect.com/index...&categoryID=93
However, this is an option for those who don't want to spend the money or would prefer to use this on several guns, as opposed to just the marq.

It would be a simple matter of google searching for a barb. I know Compulsive for one has the barbs that are needed and MANY other stores would also.

But again the point of this is to be cheap and not cost $50 or $60 like the BL version.

yeah i just figured eh...i couldn't find one so i just bought the one from bob long for me i think its easier to take out the firing engine and shove a gauge in there than it would be to take apart the frame and such...thats just personal preferance though. I understand y u guys made this and its great for people who have local paintball stores around that sell barbs but for me to buy a 1$ barb i would pay more for shipping than the actual part so...i just bought the BL version no biggy!

Sorry to hijack, how does this new bob long tester work? It just goes in place of the firing engine?

Thats pretty awesome, and easier than pulling apart your frame and hoses every time. Might have to get one.

read the instructions. The guage, end cap, barb, tap, drill, loctite.

u can use the gauge from lowes ( they had em in stock at my lowes) and a barb. unfortunately mine wasnt threaded so i used blue loctite gel. i gotta say be careful when u loctite it in, u migh get some on ur lips when u check if its sealed then u loctite ur lips together....its not fun but when ur done u can slip hosing on and BAM! u got urself a lpr tester. another problem is u gotta go further and take out the noid too but its a $8 guage with tax and it works great, set my closer to 75psi and gonna test it out at the field when i go to the open xball practice. o and if u do it this way i suggest putting the loctite around the opening in the gauge then placing the barb as evenly in the middle as possible and cementing the barb further with more loctite. takes awhile to dry but works great when it is done.....just remeber that the barb can come off if u pull the hosing off....point is to mount hosing on the barb and take off the lprs and replace it with the one on ur tester.
