Home made LPR Tester. How to:

Hey guys I was looking around online and found that getting an LPR tester might be worth the money and then saw that Paintballer187 was selling one for $25+shipping and said eh forget that so I went ahead and made one myself.

Little tutorial on how:
-Go to Lowes or HomeDepot and get the following
--Tire guage (whatever they have that makes sense, mine is a 160psi guage, dont get a 50 psi guage or a 2k psi guage)
--1/4" endcap
--10-32 tap and drill (Drill is a #21 drill)
--10-32 threaded autococker barb
--Loctite

Simply drill and tap the end of the endcap for your barb and loctite the pieces together. The endcap on mine is copper and was VERY easy to drill and tap.

The whole thing cost me around $10.00 so I saved some money and in my opinion the guage on my LPR will be easier to read and therefore will give more accurate results.

Which hose do you connect the gauge to? I never really was clear on that.

You connect the hose going out of the LPR to the guage. You have to disconnect the hose that is on the solenoid in other words.

to this. Just did it. Spent 10 bucks on the supplies, 5 on the tap and die and another 3 on loctite.

this definitely deserves a sticky. I found out my lpr was sitting at 110psi, turned it down to 70psi and it shoots even more amazing now.

once you get the guage on their. the front screw is to turn your lpr down right

The front screw is just a plug. If you take off the HPR you'll notice that screw goes nowhere.

The brass knob adjusts the lpr.

Picture or brand information on that one? I'd rather pay a little extra and get one thats already threaded for the barbs than get one that needs to be drilled and tapped.

agreed. also how many turns should the lpr be at?
