That is different then last year. i think this is better then last year but some may not think that way
I believe the new scoring system will better reflect how competitive the games are. If a team beats their opponent, 5-up with the pull and hang, the score will be 100 - 0. Last years scoring system would have scored the game 60 - 0.
If a game comes down to a one on one, with the winner of that one on one getting the pull and the hang, the score would be 80 - 40. Last years scoring sytem would have scored the game 56 - 8.
With the new scoring system putting a higher priority on eliminations, I don't believe that it will change game strategies much if at all. The objective of the game remains the same, only now, the scores will reflect how competitive a game truly is.
