Hope this makes sense.

THANKS Larry , makes perfect sense!

Just as soon as the APPA system is reset for 2007, hopefully in the next week.

Larry just a question I am pretty sure that the answer is no, but say you have two teams, can a player be registered as a player on one team, and a coach on another, at the same Xball event?

We allowed that last season. But the roster limitations were much different last year. Not saying no just yet. Let me ask for some opinions from the staff.

3.12. Scoring for five-player games will be conducted on a 100 point system and will be awarded as follows:
(i) a team will be awarded 10 points for every player on the opposing team eliminated;
(ii) a team will be awarded 5 points for every player on such team not eliminated:
(iii) a team will be awarded 10 points if it pulls the center flag first; and
(iv) a team will be awarded 15 points when the flag is hung in its opponents' flag station.

That is different then last year. i think this is better then last year but some may not think that way

I believe the new scoring system will better reflect how competitive the games are. If a team beats their opponent, 5-up with the pull and hang, the score will be 100 - 0. Last years scoring system would have scored the game 60 - 0.

If a game comes down to a one on one, with the winner of that one on one getting the pull and the hang, the score would be 80 - 40. Last years scoring sytem would have scored the game 56 - 8.

With the new scoring system putting a higher priority on eliminations, I don't believe that it will change game strategies much if at all. The objective of the game remains the same, only now, the scores will reflect how competitive a game truly is.

Any word on players being able to be rostered as a coach on one roster, and a player on another?

Any word yet on whether or not there will be a registration discount if paint is purchased through the CFOA?

EDIT: And if so, what will it be?

We're still working on the details of that program, we'll have some announcements on that soon.
