I think ICC 7-man will be a great thing. Like someone else said there is no other 7-man in indiana that you can play. I do believe that, if it is possible then the ICC should have one main group of reffs. Not a team reffing the event cause its there home field cause then the reffs become biased towards other teams that they play against and thats when bad calls come in to play. Again if it is possible then they need to try and have a one group of dedicated reffs. But if not then im sure ICC will do its best.

Yep, by about 400 feet. The league voted at convention to allow them an exception since they were an Indiana company.

Has the reffing situation been figured out? We're still interested.

Sounds like some fun stuff.

When do you think fields and dates will be final? It would be nice to get all the dates I need for this season cleared off pretty far in advance.

The only thing holding back the dates is confirming them with the fields that'll host the events. We had a heck of a time coming up with dates that didn't conflict with other events. I'm reasonably confident these dates won't change.

My real problem with the begining of the season with icc is that usually, in the past 2 years, we dont know where the first event will be held until the last second or we dont know if there will be enough teams committed to play the event. So if things are in order for this first event by Feb. 28 or so there will be a better probability of teams showing up. Really this series needs to redeem its self. By not knowing where the first event will be doesn't help any. Just my thoughts.

Well, the tentative dates were just released, you can't expect them to have the fields picked out already. I'm sure there is a whole process of finding fields that can run multiple 7 man fields, the right number of restrooms, enough parking, etc.

I'm sure we'll know by the end of March, which should give us around a month to plan.

Knowing where a series is going to start only one month before it happens just doesnt cut it. I dont want to sound like a bad guy but it just doesnt. The PSP is the same way. They still sont know where their fourth event will be held. The never know and it causes problems for teams because it makes it more expensive to travel. I would have to take work off in advance to play an Icc event so i need to know how far i am going to need to travel for overnight purposes and what not. All im trying to say is that it is hard to plan when you dont know where you are going.
