no to hijack teh thread, but i just recently bought a Gold L.E. from crazyballer.com (SCORE!!), and i was wondering if slick honey would be fine to use on the ram, lpr, etc. WOuld shocker lube be better?

ANY "grease" based lube will work just fine..... no reason to run out and get the latest and greatest lube just to grease your regs.... just grease them and be done with it!!!

Remember..... no oil or grease is needed on the bolt. Run her dry!!

you can lube the bolt with triflow teflon based lubricant, but thats the only lube you can lube it with or it will swell.

just wondering why would you want to spend the money on a lube that you don't have to (unless you already have it)?

Really all you need is a lube that gets the job done. I use SL33K mainly because thats all my local "shop" has.
But whatever lube floats your boat, melts your mazola(sp?), or fries your frenches should work.
