Game VS Event

For those who don't know the difference, come
out to Oklahoma for the D-Day Event. If you do,
make sure to come as much before the MAIN event
as you can. The reason for that is because they
don't hold just one big event, but a series of them
and that's not the half of it. In past years they've
also held their sniper and Ranger Q courses in the
days leading up to the Saturday event and that
isn't going to change, but what has is some of the
things that will also be happening behind the scenes.
Some of these activities will be by invitation ONLY,
so don't expect the Allies to invite the Germans to
theirs and visa versa.

While the event is still some 6+ months away, the
pace of planning is already at near feavor pitch, at
least on the side I represent, so if you're still not
signed up, maybe now is as good a time as any. As
I understand it, April 1 is the cut off date for people
to pick the side they want to be on. After that they
pick where you'll be. I don't know about the rest of
you, but if it was me, I'd want to be sure I was in on
the real action, not standing in line to wait my turn
to hit the beaches, but then that's just my take on
this.

BTW, I'm still looking for people with various types
of past military experience to fill specific rolls that
match to their skills. If you'd like to learn more, by
all means drop me a line and I'll be glad to put you
in touch of the folks who are in charge of our vetting
process. Once you pass their evaluation I'll be glad
to get into a more detailed description of what you
can expect to be doing.

Regardless of whiich side you'll be playing on, best
wishes to you and yours for a safe & Merry Christmas
and a Happy new Year!
