Cutting a strap.

What is involved in cutting a strap and how do you cut it and reattach it?

I cut my whipper.. if yuo mean putting on adjusters then you cut the old ones off and sew new ones on

The strap is a little stretched out and the adjusters are always at max so I was thinking I might cut off about an inch and resew. Think it will work?
