hubertcumberdale08 owns a Planet Eclipse Ego
Ego LV1 vs Geo 3.1

So I have a DM14 and I absolutely love it. I have never shot planet eclipse but I love the look of the marker and the reviews don't disappoint. So if I were to get one of the two which one? and why? keep in mind that I already have a DM14 which is a spool so maybe a poppet would be a good second? Also I keep hearing about the mythical arced shot for the egos so if there is any truth behind that let me know.

Thanks guys!

The Arced shot thing is bs. It is a visual trick caused by the firing axis being higher on most stacked tube guns. With the internalized lpr on the LV1, this trick is basically eliminated since your hand can ride right below the barrel. The best advice I can give you is to try to hold both and go with what is most comfortable. They are both very reliable and low maintenance designs (The lv1 being the lowest maontenance) and they would both complement the Dm14 well since they are basically play and forget guns.

I keep hearing people say this but when I had a Geo 3 and was comparing them I honestly never found one that actually was. It definately is a smooth and quiet poppet gun though.

Dear God, please dont buy a gun on looks... thats number one. Next, I think you will be pleasently surprised with the performance of the PE markers over Dye. Its the little features that will win you over.
