J. Warner you need to get your panties out of a twist and calm down. I was basing my date estimates on what has been going over the past few years. Usually venues were announced sometimes up 1 1/2 to 2 months before but I should have taken in consideration that there are now two leagues and both are trying to out do the other. Therefore don't expect a venue to be announced till much later because they (the league officials) are doing the best they can to get the best place immaginable for the players who have decided to play in their league of play. My bad man, all right? You should have taken the intiative on your own and maybe emailed or called whatever league you are participating in and asked. Not come on here and expect people to know and happily give you information because you're too lazy to do it your god damn self. You're just as much at fault as I am Warner. So don't go about and get pissy with me because I "gave false information" when I didn't have any information to give in the first place. For a "grown up," you lack a lot of the characteristics...

IchBinKaseBrot, if I took you post wrong, I do apologize. The first time that I posted on this mater you responded like you were in the know. I thought that you were privy to information that I was not.
“We probably won't know till late March at the latest where either event will be held. All is known is the dates, you're just going to have wait and settle with that...”

I took your post to mean that you would know in late March. Ok I waited and settled until then. I asked again if anybody knew anything. You responded and basically told me (the way I took it) to **** off. I had already searched the PSP sight diligently, with no answer. So I asked the guys on Nation. You guys always know the inside scoop. After rereading your post I see that you were just as in the dark as the rest of us.
Knick Knack I did take your advice. I called Lane Wright to day. As of this post he has not returned my call. I will try again tomorrow.
Sorry for the rant guys. As you all know it can be very frustrating to search for information that is not out there.

PSP Chicago Open

PSP doesn't know where it is, Lane doesn't know where it is, but I'm almost positive Rennick *DOES* know where it is. It's Rennick's event, and like all the Chicago Opens that have come before, it'll be good because Rennick will make sure it's good.

I wouldn't expect Rennick to spill the beans for a while though; with the whole S7 vs. PSP thing, venue information tends to be tight until everyone is pretty sure the other party can't screw anything up for them (or get any ideas for that matter - PSP doesn't want to announce a location only to have S7 rent it out 2 weeks earlier.)

And com'on, the event is in JUNE. What could you possibly need to plan 3 months in advance?

Champaigne is a good 2 hours out of the Chicagoland area. I think the event should be held in that park by Navy pier!

i dont know if anyone said this because i am way to lazy to check the entire thread

but i know almost for a fact that it will be held not at badlandz (psp this is) but at the lakecounty fairgrounds.

badlandz produced some of this information on a chicago open advertisement flyer, saying that it would be held at a location other than badlandz.

also, i heard from a credible source that it would be held at the lake county fairgrounds.
