Does anybody have any vending machines they invested in? Or does anyone runs 5+ machines in there area or know someone that does?

I was wondering if you could post up a story or testimonial.

I got into it, with only 1 machine at a girlfriends work.
turns out. I needed to have a vending permit which i didnt have to keep the machine in there,
screwed it, sold the machine and made 50 bucks cause i got a great deal on it.
meh, bad experience for me, but i know someone who makes about 40K a year partime with that.

i know the machine on base are allways sold out even tho they get restocked constantly, it depends on your location i suppose, (based on what i have seen) on a military base (in the barracks, rec centers, and at the PX) it would be a great investment. just get some in a heavy traffic area and you should be making easy $

I think it would take a long time to get your initial startup money back, if the machine cost 3-5 thousand dollars , selling chips and candy at .75 is going to take a LONG time to get that start up cost back

add in possible repairs and buying food and the time stocking them, the risk does not equal the reward

The ones on military bases are contracted out. The base would be breaching their contract if they allowed another party in.
