I see used DM5s in shops for around 600, maybe a little bit less on the nation. Also, not everyone has 600-800 to spend immediately, and some people like to take their time and get upgrades for a gun slowly, as opposed to having it all at once.

The option of putting on the frame is nice, and since lots of people think "plastic ruins performance IMO" even though plastic on the outside has nothing to do with accuracy, velocity, rate of fire, or over all ease of use, the ability to put an aluminum frame onto an entry level marker is a great touch. It gives players who don't like the plastic, but can't spend 800 dollars upfront an option over time to get themselves a nice little gun.

People who rag on the PMR, for the most part, are afraid that all the money they've put into their upper end markers may just seem a little bit silly now in comparison. 1300 for a DM7, or 400 for a rail, which does not perform as well as the DM7, but for the average player, you'd never be able to tell the difference in a game.

No. There will be metal anno'd covers for the PMR in about a month. You can live with black ones until then.

if you get a ul frame, do you have to get a new board?

and is it just the lighting or is the ul a different color?

im stuck between buying a mini or a rail. lol i like the rail cuz i could put a ul frame on it eventually.

however the mini, seems to be more reliable and more simple.

You suck. Thanks for turning this into a vs. thread, you cock. If you think it's "more reliable" then go read the invert forums.

^^^ Looks like a PM6 feedneck with a DM6 thumb screw... or it could be a PM7 feedneck that comes stock with a thumb screw... or it could be a DM6 stock feedneck...
It could be any of the above since owner of the PMR (RCcola) works at Dye.
