making ion cycle faster...
Ok, I got a Tadao Raider board for my ION but no matter what mode its on it seems to go only up to around 20-21bps...
I have a QeV and L7 bolt so faster cycling should be achievable. Does anyone know what settings i should change to make it cycle faster??

Try fine-tuning your dwell in around the low to mid 10s and pin point your reg's output pressure to maximize consistancy.

my dwell is 10... and my pressure is 120.... velocity is abour 270-280...
doesnt help with cycling speeds

its probably your loader holding things up, with the eyes on the gun will only shoot when a ball is in the breech, so if your loader is slow, then the software will wait for the ball, slowing things down. Also, depending upon what loader you do have, you might be able to drop the eye delay/loader delay/BIP/whatever tadao calls it

increase input pressure and if 20-21 bps is too slow then i dont know what to say cuz thats plenty fast.

its not the loader cuz im talking about cycles per second not balls... I can really up the PSI cuz then the velocity will be more than 300  could up the dwell then as well... |

No... have u tuned in the dwell? You might have to down the dwell.

Well then how do you know that its only ~20CPS? Have you goldwaved it, or are you just going by your ear. If your not shooting with paint then the FPS wouldnt matter, but from my experience input pressure doesnt really affect CPS too much, as long as its enoughto fully cycle the bolt, plus a lil more |

I think that the formula for finding out the recharge rate that can get you the cps you want with the dwell you have was like dwell in ms + 27.5 - 1000/cps you want. you can check that again cus its just from my memory www.zdspb.com |

That only applies to the stock board. tadao and most other boards adjust the balls-per-second internally on their own without having to worry about the millisecond "recharge" time.
Try cleaning the reg....

i can hear thats its almost the same as when capped @ 20bps with no eyes...
the dwell is at 10, cant really go any lower...

i have very good hearing  hehe... it sounds EXACTLY the same as capped at 20bps... its not something that i really need but would would be fun to play with |
