Bushmaster and CO2

Does a Bushmaster BKO and CO2 work well together? As you can tell, I am rather new to the sport. Thx.

Yeh, the BKO will run fine on CO2, just as long as you have an anti-syphon tube in your CO2 tank.

Also, Welcome to the sport!

98% of Ion owners think that their Ion is better then any high end gun. If you would like to bonus ball those douche bags put this in your sig.

Antisiphon, X-chamber, or regulator...Doesn't Matter

You could have any one of the three items listed above, and none of the would work, simply because c02 is cold and will freeze your board, so unless you have some impossible way of heating the c02, i DO NOT recommend running ur bushy on it. There will be expensively dire consequences for using c02!

I guess if you would really like to hold off on the HP tank you could run an anit siphon tube, a expanssion chamber (a higher performance one) or maybe a palmer reg.

Either way it probably isn't advisable to run your Bushy on co2...

Even with...

Even with the antisyphon, the c02 will still freeze your board, If you would rather pay for 300 dollars in repairs and replacing some of the internals, instead of 150 for a n2 good tank....its up to you.

OMFG...It will not "freeze your board" It will freeze the valve with the rapid change from liquid to gas, It gets very cold. Ice will form on the valve/internals and basically not allow your gun to cycle. You can run your BKO on either a remote or very well setup Anti-siphon. If you chose to use the remote, you should place an expansion chamber inbetween your tank and remote. Most people say that a remote is sufficient, but I suggest you use both. That way you will know you won't have any liquid entering your gun. Though it would look funny you could attach an expansion chamber to your gun as well. There are a few ways to do it. But it's up to you. Back in the day, when compressed air systems were not widely used, Almost everyone I knew ran Co2 on a Automag RT. Belive it or not and flame as you wish but it's true. You could do it today with an Emag, or angel. it's all in how it's filtered and how you keep the liquid out of it. LMK if you have any other questions.

ICD even says you can use CO2, but DON"T DO IT!!!
THe co2 is not good for the Bushy even if you anti-siphon it... It's still dirtier than Nitro, and I would never tell a person it's ok to use Co2 on BUshy.

Niether would I, but it's still possible. If you filter the C02 enough the ice particles/other matter...eh...it wouldn't be so bad.

Talking you could also

use a lighter to set your own fart on fire to produce heat. That can also be done. However, it is not the best and or more recomended way to produce heat.

Just get an HPA. I'm sure you can find a used one for 50.00 bucks somewhere.

I owned a bushmaster b2k2 for a while(like 9 months) and ran on co2 multiple multiple times(with antisyphon) and it worked wonderfully, never froze the board as u say u can, how is that possible to freeze the board no air even goes through it, maybe u mean the solenoid, thats possible cept for the fact its the same solenoid from an impy(own one now an have looked) and impys run great on co2. alot of places say u can run co2 its just NOT RECOMMENDED, which i take as it can be done but becuz n2/compressed air is a much more cleaner air it requires less tear down and cleaning than co2 with in turn causes the problems with everything else breaking cuz people dont take there time take it apart. bushy's are very very touchy u must be careful just like on every other marker when u take it apart.
so YES you can run it on co2 but it will require more tear down and cleaning of the regs and other parts where orings get build up of gook. if u clean your marker after EVERY DAY OF PLAY and LUBE IT CORRECTLY you should not have any problems running antisyphon co2.

Not all fields carry HPA, so running CO2 on a Bushy is a valid question.

Here is the truth-
Solonoids are sensitive to liquid co2.
So any decent setup (ie Rock, antisiphon,EC,etc), and it will work perfectly fine for as long as you own the gun.

The reason that electro-manafacturers say not to use CO2 is because they assume that the average paintball owner is an idiot, and will run straight CO2, and blow the seals on the solonoid.

So yes, all electros run CO2 perfectly fine. You just have to take care to set it up properly.
