Excal Triggers

Does anyone make any aftermarket triggers for the excalibur? Like a flat or ring trigger,or a nicer looking double trigger?
Thanks

No. I think Omber had one made from triggernomics, but that was a custom trigger.

Excalibur Triggers

At this time there are no aftermarket trigger assemblies due to the more complicated trigger frame used on the product.

I think I have answered the question before about the trigger itself. However, if I haven't let me try now.

I have discussed the trigger with the Alexanders of AKALMP. The general consensus is that the trigger must be more estheticly pleasing. This is in the works.

a blade would be nice. I know that every one has a blade style trigger out for most other electros, but I like the way most feel. a choice of bead blast (the front where your fingers ride) or polished would be nice too. I like the stock trigger still, but this game is all about choices LOL.

I really like the trigger. It doesnt look as cool as an Angel trigger, but I like how it feels. But I also liked the worr stick trigger that they had on the hinge frame. I dont think I would change the trigger, unless they found a way to make it adjustable from the outside. With some creativity, they could expose 1 of the other 2 settings to the outside so that you could set the firing point and return stop from the outside. Though I havnt needed to adjust it at all since I set it up the second week I had it. I have it so short that I just lightly press the side of the trigger and it shoots non stop till I let off. I dont know how it can get any better?

All new Excaliburs (Double Trigger) will be getting a new style trigger done by AKA. The edges of the trigger were rounded off, and there is some light milling on the side. Personally, I think it looks a lot better then their old triggers, and feels a million times better. I'll see if I can get a pic of it later.

I was quoted 1500 for a shiny black with the fishbone milling. Shiny black is considered a custom anno so any flat color should cost the same. Acid washes and level 3 black with milling cost 1400 IIRC. Stock unmilled level3 black ones are 1200 IIRC.

I like that trigger much better. Is there a reason though it has the extra hole? I guess it must be the way the trigger is laying, but I don't see where it's tapped for the switch set screw.

I take it you mean free, as fee would be more apt.

However they've offered me services without charge so of this I cannot complain.
