Well I just got a Critical magnetic return trigger for my UL'd PMR and I have to say its awesome. I have set this thing to a literal mouse click (some people over use this term. I assure you that I am being quite literal about it's use.) and it's return is super fast. There is also NO side to side "wobble". This trigger fits like a glove, no doubt about it. It exceeds my expectations in design, smoothness, operation, and build quality. I would highly suggest that anyone thinking of getting this trigger NOT get it. I would rather not have them firing AT me.

I have found that there are many triggers for a ul'd pm7, but do they fit the stock frame? i was mainly looking at the violent or critical.
any and all info would be helpful

I think it goes where the spring used to in the frame. If you don't want it or can't figure it out, I'll swap you my violent products trauma series trigger i have in my pm8. I have a raze in my pm6 and I want one for my 8 now.

No, PM7 triggers are special. I only know these companies that make them:
Raguba
Custom Products
Acid Customs
Critical
Techna?

i got my hands on an older style VP trigger.
they have a new style that isnt as much of a swoop.
I had to grind down the trigger alot to get it to move around in the frame so it wouldn't rub against the solenoid. but if you can get your hands on one of these triggers, then congrats to you since these triggers are amazing.
DM6 triggers going into dm7/dm8's may need some sanding to get it from rubbing against the noid.

I know this sounds like a stupid question granted what was in the first post but any proto trigger will fit in a DM4 stock frame, even the pmr edge trigger?

No - only triggers for the PM5 and PM6 are interchangeable with the DM4.
You have to remember that when this thread was started, the PM7 and PMR didn't even exist, so when someone said that the PM triggers fitted the DM4, they were referring to the existing PMs - the 5 and 6.

Only PM7 triggers work for the PM7, they aren't interchangeable with any, and Techna doesn't make PM7 triggers, only the 1 and 2 finger job triggers that fit the PM5/6 and DM4

I don't believe that Critical make a PM7 trigger either - if they do, it isn't listed on their site.
The only one of the big names that makes a PM7 specific trigger is CP, with Rake and Slingblade triggers being available.
Slingblade style shown here.
Raguba are a less known company (based in Germany) who none the less offer a wide range of triggers, including for the PM7.
You then have the custom makers like acid-custum and thebetterone, both members here, who may be able to make a trigger for you.

UL frame for which marker? The PMR UL frame for instance, takes different triggers than the other UL frames.

The UL frame for the PM7, yes, the DM7 trigger (or any trigger for a DM UL frame) will fit.
It wouldn't fit the stock PM7 frame though.
