I removed the recock side exhaust valve, has anybody done the same thing? I did notice that the RM cycles slightly faster.

I can't think of any reason why the RM would cycle faster. Im sure it's cycling at the same speed and it's all in your head.

I tried removing my exhaust valves, and I found that removing the forward valve (furthest from gun) made no difference,
but removing the reverse valve (closest to gun) made the gun cycle much slower.
In fact, without the reverse valve, it could barely cycle at all. The reverse stroke compresses the main-spring and needs all the help it can get.

I'm not sure how removing one can make it cycle faster? All they do is remove friction, unless your exhaust valves were defective or broken?

Who knows. IF your RM is running great then it doesnt really matter...

I may have had a leak or more direct flow helped. I was introduced to the idea at Mad Marty's. He posted on his site that you could remove the valve in question if you had the striker valve guide modification done your marker. I just know that the RM was one of the better markers to date that I've owned.

The Tippmann A-5 is awesome as well and rely on it for sceniero games.
