yea last year only 2-3 teams from the feeder played in main events. The feeders are mostly noobie rookie teams who arnt ready to compete with the more experenced players

There will be 5 prelim games. Top four move to semi finals and play a best 2 of 3. Top 2 move to finals and play a best 2 of 3. The games will be played on a 5man airball field.

Tippmann Pride will be helping with the refing at the first event. No team has contacted us about refing the 2nd event yet.

a team may ref two events. The first event you get credit for 1st place, the 2nd you get credit for 4th. However because of the number of teams you would only get to ref one most likely

Points

I believe you are going to loose several teams because of the "feeder events points"

It was not stated that the feeder events offered series points and even one point can win someone the series title.

You should really rethink that decision.

I know of at least one team that has decided against playing now.

Just to let you know

Eric

This is the 5th year for the series and there has always been feeders. It also talks about this on the website.

Its your series

Jason

In the past you only offered prizes at each individual event, so it didn't matter about "series points" The series title was just a title. Now that you have moved up to giving away one big series prize you have to take into consideration that you just let a select few get a big jump on teams that planned on playing the four series events.

Im not trying to start anything I want paintball to succeed everywhere. I was just letting you know that one local team said they weren't going now.

Maybe we might try to make it out to your tournament.

Its your series, do what you want.

PS just for clarification.

Say in open class you have an average of 5 teams per event show up for the series. What happens to the series prize? Do we loose everything or will you still give a prize?

Thanks

Eric McDowell

I did go to your website

http://www.geocities.com/crowleyridgepb/Tounaments.html

It lists no feeder events and says nothing about points for feeder events.

I did notice however, on a post you edited on 1/26 that you did state there were points for feeder events.

Is the Open dividion still limited to 5 teams?

Its on the SMPL site. www.crpscenarigames.com. The teams that play the feeders never really compete in the main events anyways. They are almost all rookie players. I mean new players, no tournament experence so they never play against the more experenced teams. Here is the tentitive team list as of today. Nobody has paid yet but this is who has contacted us and said they plan to play.

OPEN:
Team JJ
Badd Companiee
TRCC Raiders
Big Red One

Tippmann Pride will be helping to ref the event.

ROOKIE:
Bruise Brothers
Team Crowley Redz
Jackel & Hyde
Intensive
Chaotic Army
